[My GOD, Robots! Pilot V2]

nice remake

I remember seeing the original pilot way back in the day when you first put it here, and despite its faults, I liked it and saw a lot of potential. this is a nice remake -- the story is much more understandable, the pacing is better, the voice acting is better and has higher sound quality, and of course your improved animation skills are visible. I'm surprised you didn't have the "intro" sequence you have on your other episodes, because that's one thing I really liked about the original. I personally think that intro song is one of the best and most memorable intro songs of any cartoon, and this includes stuff on TV. I heard a little piece of it in here when he first went to the robot world, but you should use it more.

the real thing I think you can use to improve this is to add some frickin' sound effects. I know it's annoying to do, but you got to do it. without sound effects, there's this weird, ethereal sense to the on-screen action, like nothing is really happening. like when a hamster smashes into the wall and there's no sound at all, there's some weird disconnect. I don't know, this is just an idea, because there was something definitely sort of "off" about the whole thing and I couldn't quite figure out what it was. so it might be the lack of sound effects, that's all I'm saying.

anyway, it's your visual and comic style that make this worth watching. it's funny stuff, and I really look forward to what you do in the future. peace.

funny stuff

nice parodies, randomness, animation, sound, animation, etc. some parts were really funny and other parts were just sort of funny and it averaged out to something that was definitely worth seeing. great work!

very good series

this is a great series -- interesting characters, well-written, funny, good animation, actual plot-lines and story arcs, excellent voice acting -- it's got a lot going for it. and there's definitely marked improvement between episodes. great job, I'll be looking forward to what you do in the future.

[Frozen Out There]

hey, that was pretty good!

you managed in some ways to capture the "feel" of one of those old-school animated musicals, albeit on a much smaller time-frame. great job with the animation and voice-acting. sure, some things could have used some work, but overall it was enjoyable. you should continue animating. you could do some great things!

[Out of Sync]

very nice work

this was a nice animation. very simple both in style and story, but both were very effective at conveying the necessary emotions, I think in part because of the simplicity. the theme you showed here is one that I think may ring true for a lot of people, and the title you used, "out of sync"...it's a very interesting way to put it. I never thought about it like that. anyway, nice work. keep up the good work!

[ACML Speed]

some good graphics

that was a pretty enjoyable music vid. there was some good animation all around, but certainly the best and most on point for the song was the part with the airplanes flying through space and the glowing dots and such. so whoever did that, bravo. the rest was good, too, but very different style from those parts which I considered to be the "main" parts to the point that it didn't mesh very well together. anyway, nice work to all involved, though.

[FbF FTW Collab]

I guess this is proof that not all great collabs get an award. you guys totally deserved something for this. there was some good animation, and some of the parts were pretty funny. it was definitely worth a watch.

[Future]

raising the bar

that was some great Flash. the effects were definitely mind-blowing. everything from the faux-3D to the pulsating glows were very well executed. and the style was really cool in that it was simultaneously retro and futuristic -- a mix of Tron, anime, sci-fi, etc. -- nice job here. this is certainly some professional work. I'll be looking forward to what you do in the future.

[Red Riding Hood]

great

it's nice to see the "real" version of the red riding hood story in animated form after so many cutesy, kiddie animated versions. the animation itself is very good and you set the mood well. also, the narration voice-acting was well done. great job, keep it up.

that was pretty good work there, especially for doing it all in one day. the pacing was good, although it would have been nice if it could have been a little faster in some places, rather than being completely even. also, some more variety in the animations would have been good. the music was a good choice for the subject matter. it was sort of interesting that the only color you used was when the main guy was blushing. maybe if there was a bit more shown as to what happened at the end it would have had more of an impact, but I understood what happened, so maybe what you have is enough. anyway, nice work, here. I'm looking forward to what you do in the future. keep practicing!
