Good work

This is turning out to be a creative and interesting new series. You have a lot of original ideas. Keep it up.

decent effort

This was rather interesting to watch. The animation got the message across, but it wasn't very smooth or consistent. The story is kind of random, but it could get better in the upcoming parts. It's interesting how you gave it a wierd sort of humor, and yet make it seem to be an "epic tale" or what not. When the king in the movie decided to wage a "War on Evil" was that a shot on the "War on Terror"? I don't know, maybe I was reading into it too much. I must say though, the voice acting in this movie is some of the best I've seen in a flash animation, and the music was used well. It would be nice if the animation could be cleaned up to match the quality of the sound. Well, that's all I got to say. I'll be looking out for whatever comes next in this series.

Pretty creative.

Hey, that was an interesting idea. The animation could have been cleaned up a little, but it got the message across. Even with no dialogue and minimal written words, I knew what was going on. So you did good as far as visual communication. I can see what you meant by it being mostly "metaphorical." I could see there was a lot of symbolism in it. While I was watching, I was wondering how you would end it. I thought it would be predictable, but it wasn't (at least for me), which was great. Well, to sum it up, it was a good flick, and it kind of made me think. Keep up the good work.

That was bad

Yeah, that was pretty terrible. I mean, what the hell do you think you're doing? Translating Shakespeare into "Black people talk"?!? That's just offensive. Have you even met a Black person before? You pulled just about every stereotype you could have given the circumstances.

Besides, this doesn't even show that you have really grasped the meaning of the Shakespeare stuff. If you were trying to update "Romeo & Juliet" and put it in a modern context, you failed miserably. What did your English teacher say about it?

Good stuff.

Yeah, the was pretty funny. Not hilarious, but good. It was also very creative and your art and animation are great, especially for your first shot at it. The style of the animation was consistent throughout and had a nice feel.

Oh yeah, as far as the sound goes, it synced up pretty nice on my computer, but if you want to make sure it syncs on all computers do this:

-Right click on the main sound that plays throughout the movie (probably the music in this case).
-Go down to "Panels" and then click "Sound" (I use Flash 5, so it might be different if you use MX. Just go through the right-click menu and find the "Sound" panel.)
-When the sound panel opens, one of the options with a drop down menu is "Sync." Right now, your sync is probably set to "Event." Click on the menu and choose "Stream."
-Now your music is locked to your animation and all concurrent sounds that happen during that sound (despite their sync) will also be locked. Just be sure you have enough frames in the layer that your audio is playing in because the music stops when the frames stop. I've also heard that streaming your audio makes it load faster. Bonus!

Anyway, good job and good luck in your future animating endeavors.

You know what?

I think most of the computer freeze problems induced by this flash would be solved if you would actually draw the pictures in flash, itself, rather than import images. That way, everything would be vector-based rather than pixel-based. You have some good artwork and sound, but I really can't judge this because it's literally impossible for me to see the whole thing. At the part where the guy is like "It's all clear to me now!, etc." the movie froze and I had to restart my computer. It was insane. Please figure out some way to make your movies work. Flash is a great medium for storytelling. Use it to your advantage. Use it in such a way that your vision can be seen by the masses. Nobody will even consider watching your stuff if their computers get shot to hell every time they try.

Peace.

Yeah....

...that was...umm...a real "shocker." Crazy stuff.

Well...

That was...umm...cute? It's actually kind of beautiful in its simplicity. It's just "Another Day" as the series name suggests. Nothing too special going on plot-wise, but interesting nonetheless in the way it glorifies and highlights the every day joys of life (?). You should make online greeting cards or something.

we need more stuff like this

Like you said, there's an unusual lack of well-animated, original movies based on video games on Newgrounds. Most of the games based on video games that you see are sprite-based (which doesn't necessarily make it bad by itself), unoriginal, and not very well thought out or funny. However, this movie had good animation and an original and entertaining story. The voice acting was very good as well. Great job.

The end redeemed most of the movie...

...because it seemed to make me laugh for no good reason. Anyway, the rest was only mildly amusing, and the animation is slightly above average. However, in both content and presentation, this movie shows much promise for future improvement. Keep up the good work and keep practicing.
